Last October, Health Care Voters like you protested when the governor proposed $480 million in health care cuts.  Your emails and phone calls were vital in preventing those cuts from happening.  However, the governor's latest budget threatens the health and well-being of those he has sworn to protect - children and pregnant women.  

Against the General Assembly's wishes, Governor Ehrlich cut funding for legal immigrant women and children - who will soon be uninsured and have little to no health care at a huge expense to our state.  Governor Ehrlich should ensure that ALL Maryland children and pregnant women have the same access to quality, affordable health care.

However, the governor's latest budget threatens the health and well-being of thousands of children and pregnant women and it's up to us to act now to urge him to do the right thing.
