Over 800,000 Pennsylvanians are uninsured and 700 die each year because they don't get the care they need when they need it. Our health care system is broken and we have to fix it.

Last year the Governor released his "Prescription for Pennsylvania", a comprehensive plan to reform health care in our state so that everyone could get health insurance while keeping all of our costs affordable.

While progress has been made on some parts of the plan, the biggest part - covering the uninsured - has yet to be passed.
